Short Biography

As of september 2024, I am a PhD student working in the Antonija Grubisic-Cabo group at the University of Groningen. During my PhD I will mostly be busy working on the development of Time- and Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (TR-ARPES) techniques. This technique provides insightful knowledge in out-of-equilibrium electronic structures and ultrafast electron dynamics.

Before this adventure I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degree in physics (with emphasis on advanced materials) at the University of Groningen. In the last year of the masters I joined Antonijas group to study the effect of bismuth doping on the electronic structure of platinum ditelluride. Here I learned about ARPES and other spectroscopic techniques resulting in my decision to start a PhD in the same group.

In my free time I like to play football, go to concerts and play my musical instrument.
