Fe(Se,Te) / topological insulator hybrids: growth and characterization

We will develop scalable synthesis methods of chemically stable hybrid bismuthene systems. This will start with bismuthene domains on Si and SiC substrates, followed by new material combinations identified in collaboration with the theory subproject. Structural characterization will involve HAADF-STEM and STM-AFM microscopy.
