Proximity-induced superconducting and interacting quantum spin/anomalous Hall channels

Devices will be fabricated based on the quantum spin Hall materials of pillar 1, including 1T-WTe2 monolayers with tunable edge states in combination with in-situ deposited superconducting electrodes (vacuum suitcase transfer). (Non-local) dI/dV spectroscopy as well as Josephson effect studies will be performed to evidence the Majorana character of these 1D topological states. Interactions can be included by creating gate-tunable quantum point contacts between the channels.
