QuMat had its kick-off on October 26 at Hotel Mitland in Utrecht. It was an inspirational day where all the project staff, their Ph.D. students, and postdocs could meet for the first time. The day featured presentations from the four pillars and the methods and techniques group.
As an extra spice, Maia Vergniory from the Max-Planck-Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden gave an inspirational talk showcasing the Topological Materials Database.
