Short Biography

I am Xiaojing Liu, and I am a PhD student in the group of Antonija Grubišić Čabo at University of Groningen, the Netherlands. I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in materials physics at South China Normal University, China. During my PhD, my research aims to uncover the hidden nature of two-dimensional materials, mainly Kagome materials, by investigating their electronic structure, and to do this I use angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES)-a powerful technique that allows us to directly probe the electronic properties of solids and surfaces.
