Short Biography

The group of Prof. Ye is the pioneer in developing the ionic gating technique that can manipulate quantum phases of a wide range of materials. The focus is the tuning the optoelectronic response of quantum materials through field-effect gating. The group has demonstrated the first Ising superconductor and the concept of Ising pairing in superconductivity. Prof. Ye is a recipient of the ERC Consolidator Grant.
