Short CV
Lars Fritz has worked on a variety of subjects in theoretical condensed matter research ranging from quantum impurity problems, topological insulators, spin liquids all the way to high temperature superconductors. He is well known for his contributions to the understanding of quantum criticality in Kondo type systems as well as for the hydrodynamic description of transport in two dimensional Dirac materials, such as graphene. He received an Emmy- Noether grant in 2011, the German equivalent of the Vidi.
